This is the 72 post and I just realise I've been blogging for one year plus although it's very little for you guys but I can't believe that because I'm that kind of impatient people and yet I've been maintaining my blog for so long. Whao. Awesomee. Now, I'm no longer addicted to facebook or whatever. I just on my laptop for leisure purpose. I spend my time much on music. Yeah, music is my soul can't live without that. Planned a gathering on two weeks time. Location not decided yet. Awww, I gonna work very hard for my future next year or maybe from now onwards. So I got to go now. Too boring already, gonna find something to entertain myself. Bye :D

The importance of my cellphone

Hi everyone, I'm back for my blog. My blog is dead for some time. It's time for update. ><" Okay. I've one good news and one bad news. Bad news first, I sent my cellphone to service again. I was totally mad of it. Know what? I just mention that I sent it to service last week, but the stupid fellow didn't actually come to my problem, somemore tell me he already upgraded my phone, in fact,nothing has been changed. What the heck is he saying. Sony Ericsson, this blooddy company, I gonna su you soon. Wait for me ! God bless you. You made me totally out of mood. Second, the good new I mean. I now found out,other than music, my life really suck without my cellphone. Can't do anything without it. So freakin troublesome to contact my friends. I think it's enough of those silly things. Serious now. My brother's girlfriend, so called my future "dai sou" bought some souvenir from Cameron Highlands. My favourite sweet. XD Thanks so much for that. Went to Sunway and have my dinner at Rainforest. Wow, that was a feast for me. Feel so full after eating. Saw many "blacks" there. Then I bought some clothes and so on. Haha. I finally got the dust bath for Pixy. I think she's happy with that. Anyway, thanks for reading my craps. Don't make the same mistake if you don't want to waste your time again. =) Good night world. LOVE

Love is a very strong feeling of affection. Love is created by hormones in the brain, telling the person if they like somebody or something. Love cannot easily be described, for it is a mix of emotions; people can love and be loved in different ways. Love is the attraction of one person to another person, object or sensation. It is debated whether animals can experience love. Love is created by chemical reactions in the brain. Eating chocolate releases the same chemicals in the brain giving one the feeling of love. Love is a different feeling for many people; different people can feel or experience love in different ways. As a result it is something that is hard to define. A common belief is that there is a difference between being "in" love and loving someone. Being in-love is something which many people believe is too much; people think about the person or thing they are in love with a lot, the person or animal (if that is possible) might think that the one he/she is "in love" with is very important to them. There are many forms of love: self-love, divine love, love for another person (family member, friend, lover), just to name a few. In fact, love does not even have to involve people; for example, love can exist in regard to an object or idea. Psychology divides love into three basic categories: brotherly love, romantic love, and physical love. Theoretically, having all three makes true love. Often love can be confused with another feeling, such as sexual attraction, affection, obsession or feelings of friendship. There are examples when love can be destroyed; love was once there, but another feeling, such as jealousy or anger, has taken over the feeling of love. Attended temple's annual dinner in Hokkien Association yesterday and I finally finish doing my Sejarah project at 2 a.m in the morning. Saw Eu Ee's and Chung's younger brother. Chung's younger brother is darn cute![even though he keep asking me lame questions] Haha. Today's school was as usual ,nothing special. Didn't go for tuition class cause Chew and me are too sleepy. 二 PageMaker的终结者——排版天才InDesign

一、概述.

对于国内的MAC和PC普通用户来说，在印前设计专业领域中使用最广泛的排版软件是Adobe公司的PageMaker，但这并非说明 PageMaker是最优秀的。Quark公司的QuarkXPress（欧美大部分国家地区使用其）和北大方正集团（FOUNDER）的飞腾（FIT）在专业性能上比PageMaker更胜一筹，只是由于种种因素而使得这两种软件得不到广泛应用。例如，Quark公司一直以来投放的重点不是中国国内，因此简体中文MAC版升级慢，PC版本更是少见；而方正飞腾（FIT）主要是配合北大方正集团开发的另外一些软件专攻报社、出版社等具有连贯性、系统性的大型对象，另外FIT的后端照排输出也有局限性，即FIT的PS文件只能在昂贵的方正RIP上输出等等，所以普通用户才不得不使用升级快、输出方便但功能不能让专业人士满意的PageMaker.

由于PageMaker是Adobe公司原先从Aldus公司继承过来的，其核心技术相对陈旧，存在许多缺点，单凭PageMaker击败 QuarkXPress在印前设计专业领域长期占一席之地，显然是不可能的，于是Adobe公司另辟蹊径在１９９９年９月１日发布了一个功能更强大的排版软件，作为其１０年来在排版领域受Quark公司压制的反击和完全实现其桌面出版系统龙头老大的位置，这个创新的排版软件就是InDesign.

二、InDesign介绍　　

　　

Adobe的InDesign是一个定位于专业排版领域的全新软件，虽然出道较晚，但在功能上反而更加完美与成熟.

InDesign博众家之长，从多种桌面排版技术汲取精华，如将QuarkXPress和Corel－Ventura（著名的Corel公司的一款排版软件）等高度结构化程序方式与较自然化的PageMaker方式相结合，为杂志、书籍、广告等灵活多变、复杂的设计工作提供了一系列更完善的排版功能，尤其该软件是基于一个创新的、面向对象的开放体系（允许第三方进行二次开发扩充加入功能），大大增加了专业设计人员用排版工具软件表达创意和观点的能力，功能强劲不逊于QuarkXPress，比之PageMaker则更是性能卓越；此外Adobe与高术集团、启旋科技合作共同开发了中文 InDesign，全面扩展了InDesign适应中文排版习惯的要求，功能直逼北大方正集团（FOUNDER）的集成排版软件飞腾（FIT），可见， InDesign的确非同一般。　　　　

三、InDesign的优点　　　　

所谓版面编排设计就是把已处理好的文字、图像图形通过赏心悦目的安排，以达到突出主题为目的。因此在编排期间，文字处理是影响创作发挥和工作效率的重要环节，是否能够灵活处理文字显得非常关键， InDesign在这方面的优越性则表现得淋漓尽致，下面通过在版面编排设计时的一些典型的例子加以说明。　　　　

１．文字块具有灵活的分栏功能，一般在报纸、杂志等编排时，文字块的放置非常灵活，经常要破栏（即不一定非要按版面栏辅助线排文），这时如果此独立文字块不能分栏，就会影响编排思路和效率。而PageMaker却偏偏不具有这一简单实用的功能，而是要靠一系列非常烦琐步骤去实现：文字块先依据版面栏辅助线分栏，然后再用增效工具中的“均衡栏位”齐平，最后再成组以便更改文字块的大小时不影响等同的各栏宽等等。而InDesign就具有灵活的分栏功能，单这点上就与一直强于 PageMaker的QuarkXPress和FIT站在了同一水平线上。　　　　

２．文字块和文字块中的文字具有神奇的填色和勾边功能，InDesign可给文字块中的文字填充实地色或渐变色，而且可给此文字勾任意粗的实地色或渐变色的边。同时，对此文字块也可给予实地色或渐变色的背景，文字块边框可勾任意粗的实地色或渐变色的边框，这样烦琐的步骤，InDesign用其快捷的功能可一气呵成，而PageMaker单靠其“文字背景” 功能是完不成的，甚至得借助其它软件来实现，就连QuarkX－Press也只能望其项背。特别是文字块和文字块中的文字的渐变色勾边这一功能，也只有 FIT可与其抗衡。　　　　

３．文字块内的文字大小变化灵活，当我们进行编排时，往往会遇到想对某段文字块中的某些文字作一些特别强调，如大小、长短变化等等， InDesign就为您提供了这一方便功能。InDe－sign可让文字块内的文字在XY轴方向改变大小且可任意倾斜，而PageMaker文字块中的文字却只能在X轴方向改变，更不能倾斜。更神奇的是InDesign中整个文字块可用“缩放键”放大和缩小（其中文字也相应放大和缩小），这项绘图软件特有优秀的功能被InDesign引进，从而大大减少了由于版面变化而改变版式的工作量，提高了工作效率。而PageMaker却只能望尘莫及，老老实实的从改变字号大小开始重新安排版面，费时费力。　　　　

４．文字块的文字在间距控制上更自由，一般在排文时常常会遇到文字块最后一栏的最后一行不能与前面栏的最后一行平齐等等问题，这时可能就需要调整字距（Tracking）来实现了。InDesign的文字字距可简单的通过设定任意的数值来调整，非常快捷方便。不知是不是因为具有这灵活的字距功能，而使InDesign没有加入在PageMaker中特有的“专业字距编辑”功能？而 PageMaker则只有五个级别来控制，显得笨拙。另外在字偶距（Kerning）、词间距（Word spacing）和字母间距（Letter Spacing）等方面的控制，InDesign也表现不俗，而且创新了保证文字排列美观的“单行／多行构成”功能。　　　　

５．文字块常规的矩形外框可自由改变，若我们在编排时需要文字块的形状特殊一些，那么InDesign除了为您预设了几种圆角、倒角矩形外，还允许您用“直接选择工具”和“贝塞尔（Bezier）工具”在默认矩形文字块基础上再进行更富创意的形状变化，真正使您“所想即所得”。而这一功能在 PageMaker中想都别想，连QuarkXPress都没那么方便。　　　　

６．拥有绘图软件中的艺术效果文字———沿路径排文字，为配合版面需要想为文字变个花样，InDesign只要用“贝塞尔（Bezier）工具” 画出您喜欢的曲线，那么沿曲线排列文字在InDesign中可轻易实现。而PageMaker必须去另外软件中去实现，若修改则十分麻烦，实在影响工作效率。　　　　

７．文字块中的文字可转图形，完成编排后送到输出中心输出时，若知输出中心无相应的TrueType字或PS字，这时 InDesign的文字转图形的功能可就派上用场了，这种绘图软件特有的功能再一次被用于排版软件真令人叫绝。而PageMaker只能又要借助别的软件去完成这一任务了。通过以上几例，可见在文字处理方面的比较，InDesign表现得老到成熟，而PageMaker则有些老态龙钟了。　　　　

８．InDesgn的其它功能，InDesign还具有许多绘画、绘图软件的特性和自己独特的功能，大大方便了用户。例如：　　　　

①InDesign可对图像进行羽化、阴影和透明，省去了要到Photoshop中才能实现的步骤；　　　　②InDesign借鉴了的Photoshop的“吸管工具”，对于迅速查看和复制颜色提供了不少方便；　　　　③InDesign的“贝塞尔（Bezier）工具”和“自由笔”，其绘图功能与CorelDRAW等绘图软件不相上下，这样就省去了去另外软件绘图的麻烦；　　　　

④InDesign的调色板可随心所欲的拖动CMYK控制条来得到你所想要的颜色，使用户在设计时对颜色的搭配选择更加快捷等等。　　　　

⑤InDesign神奇的多次UNDO和REDO功能，提高了用户设计产品的灵活性。而PageMaker却只有一次，甚至有的操作连一次都没有。　　　　

⑥InDesign的“恢复”功能，使您能自动恢复由于系统意外失败的情况下您最近一次的操作，这样大大减少了意外造成的损失。　　　　

⑦InDesign整合了多种关键技术，包括现在所有Adobe专业软件拥有的图像、字型、色彩管理技术。通过这些程序Adobe提供了工业上首个实现屏幕和打印一致的能力；　　　　

⑧InDesign对PDF有广泛的支持，可以直接存储PDF格式，而不需要通过Acrobat Distiller一样的中间程序，这对将来PDF彻底成为标准时具有明显的优势。PageMaker在这些方面就更加落伍了，逐渐老化的 PageMaker只能被重新定位到商务排版市场中，与Microsoft的Publisher相竞争。类似以上的优点还有很多，这里不再一一举例。综上所述，InDesign在排版软件中的出类拔萃的优势无需置疑，在专业领域InDesign代替PageMaker成为行业专业软件的主流是必然的趋势。

三　关于Adobe中文InDesign　　　　

算来Adobe正式推出InDesign已经两年，去年出了1.5更新版，而今年年初提升到1.52版本后，InDesign可以说是正式踏入稳定期。　　　　

尽管人人都说计算机行业转得飞快，但一套大型软件从设计到面世等闲也要三、五年，要进入稳定和市场发展期也非要一两年不行。InDesign在欧美地区已经逐渐成为主流产品之一，虽然早期在亚洲区未受重视，但随着月前日本版面世和启旋科技正密锣紧鼓地准备推出中文版，InDesign在亚洲区可能有更亮丽的前景。　　　　

要介绍InDesign最简单的方法就是从三个P开始，其中包括了：PDF、PhotoShop和Plug-in。　　　　（一）Plug-in是近年来软件发展的一大重点，目的是拓展软件的协同性(Collaboration)。原厂商会在软件上加入程序接口 (Application Program Interface,API)，并将连接的方法详尽及有系统地发布，这些接口程序称为SDK(SoftwareDevelopmentKits)，让其它开发商在软件上进行「二次开发」。这种方式能令软件更具「生命力」，和更配合用户的需要，在排版和图象应用软件中包括PageMaker、 MicrosoftOffice及DreamWeaver等都具备类似的功能，QuarkXpress和PhotoShop的扩展软件就更是包罗万有。　　　　

但过去这些扩展软件的功能是非常有限的，许多时候只是接口上的改变又或者一些周边功能，例如特殊的图象处理效果、造表格、连接数据库等等，甚少能影响核心功能的运作。但InDesign就采用类同互联网浏览器(InternetBrowser)的设计方式，除却一个精简的核心程序，所有功能模块都以扩展软件形式加入，因此不但能够增加复杂的功能，甚至能够减少部分功能令软件更快速易用。事实上，Adobe就利用InDesign的核心，减少复杂的排版和图象处理功能，改而加入流程管理，从而发展出建基于InDesign的另外两项产品--InCopy和InScope。　　　　

排版软件市场已经有好一段时间没有新产品了，就连比较重要的产品更新算来也已经是97年的Quark4.0，中文版更来晚了三年，真有令人望穿秋水的感觉。从技术人的眼光来看，排版软件就功能定位上较困难，从文字和图象处理、排列禁则、版面调配到印刷输出都包含在内，因此在九十年代初的发展高峰期过后，排版软件已经扩展得非常庞大和复杂，但无论是本土开发或外国商业软件，由于根基和设计早已在八十年代制定，经过多年的更新提升后，软件架构已经难以容纳新功能，每次更新都可能影响其它部分的原有程序运作，或最少令开发周期变得愈来愈长。　　　　而InDesign的开放式设计就正好解决了这个问题，标志了排版软件的新路向，启旋科技开发的中文版就建基于扩展软件模块，并且逐步加入更多的扩展模块来配合不同的中文功能，例如制作表格、分类广告、数据库出版等等。　　　　

（ 二）PhotoShop和InDesign的关系是非常密切的。首先在接口设计上InDesign几乎和PhotoShop完全相同，原来惯用 PhotoShop只要简单的培训，了解当中的差异和特性，就可以轻易上手。事实上PhotoShop的接口例如分层(Layer)的处理、同一档案多窗口和组合式Palette也获得一致好评，得到不少奖项，选择使用相同的接口，是Adobe正确的选择，为InDesign打好了用户基础。　　　　

InDesign、PhotoShop和Illustrator的紧密整合令这些软件得以更深入的拓展和充分发挥各自的优势。在InDesign 中不但可以调入其它软件来修改所处理的图象，置入图象也会显示最新的制作状态，更重要的是三个软件共享了核心处理技术，例如使用Adobe Graphics Manager，令EPS图像达到真正的「所见即所得」，显示方面则采用了AdobeCoolType显示字体效果，并利用RainbowBridge对颜色进行精确的管理。这些核心技术确保工作流程更为顺畅和制作效果得到保证，不会在调入完成图档后始出现印刷和显示的问题，这都是其它排版软件难以望其项背的。　　　　（三）PDF(PortableDocumentFormat)是目前出版业最重要的技术发展之一，特别在自动化流程管理和远传输出应用上，欧美地区已经普遍接受为标准。在实际应用方面PDF也确实是一个有效和稳定的方案。在亚洲市场方面，最近Acrobat Version5推出后，解决了在旧版本中包括内码和字库等不少双字节和不同地区版本差异的问题，PDF势将在中、日文市场起飞。InDesign对 PDF有极广泛的支持，无论输出和输入PDF档案都准确便捷，因此在配合PDF的普及发展下，InDesign具有明显优势。InDesign可以直接存储PDF格式，而不需要通过像Acrobat Distiller一样的中间程序；利用PDF输出令发排的速度更快，减低出错机会；并且可以控制图片压缩、字体转换和颜色变化的关键设置。　　　　

此外，InDesign也加强了基本页(MasterPage)和字距调整的设定和许多图象功能，然而目的并不在于取代其它软件，但却有助于改善排版人员对页面的最后修正。而启旋的中文扩展软件也完全从中文版面要求出发，加入中文横排左右起、直排转换、避头点和避尾点、折题和纵中横、直接存取数据库、中文字段设定及表格等功能，令InDesign能真正向QuarkXpress挑战。

Flora came to my house this morning. After we changed , we went to my aunty's salon to set our hair. Ate something before going there. Luckily we went there on time. Yesterday after schooling, I went back to Kwang Hua to collect my documents.
I reach there around 3:40.
Walked to the office to find the Penyelia Petang- Puan Low or whatever lah cause I don't know how to spell her name ><.
Unfortunately when I go up to the office, the clerk says Puan Low sedang makan tengah hari. I ask the clerk can I take the documents or not? Then she said mana ibu?Ibu mesti datang untuk tandatangan,otherwise I can't take back my documents.
Wth. I don't want to argue with that stupid clerk so I asked my mother to call Puan Low.
Went to canteen to buy drinks.
I saw micheal [ballet friend]and her friends. I Damn schocked cause I don't know they will come to Kwang Hua.
Then her friends keep saying " Sze Li you very yeng leh.You're so cool."ZzZzZ.Apalah like that also yeng.
Form 1's recess time I Saw siao kia and Ming Kai. 1st time siao kia say hello to me. Haha.And of cause I saw quite a lot of friends before them lah.
